Obituary

Nora Levitina, 72, beloved mother of Irena Beskina (Stephen McDonnell); cherished grandmother and partner in crime of Abigail McDonnell; dear sister of Leonid (Ella) Levitin; aunt of Alex and Marina Levitin. Nora dedicated her life to her family first and foremost, then to her career in finance and entrepreneurial endeavors.

A life-long animal lover, she volunteered her time to animal shelters, earning a nickname of dog-whisperer. She also volunteered her time serving the suburban homeless community. Bright, passionate, compassionate, fiercely independent, funny, crazy; this remarkable woman will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
